The identity I knew for so long no longer resonated with how I wanted to move through the world. I was a “Fashion Director” for a big corporation. It was my oxygen, motivation, and my life. But as the years passed, I lost the creative luster and drive I originally had. My heart was yearning for change, not the neverending Groundhogs day. I knew there was a bigger world to explore, and it wouldn’t happen sitting behind a desk. 

Dream job, dream city, dream house, and dream wealth (sound’s perfect, right?). I still wasn’t fulfilled and couldn’t figure out why. I craved something else, but what?

I was living someone else's dream, which I no longer resonated with, and lost my true essence. While I was grateful for the abundance that came with it, I couldn't ignore the call from my Inner Voice that I had a bigger purpose. We only have one life, and I refused to squander it. 

This was the moment when I started to spiral!

It was now time to be honest with myself. Do I continue down the road that’s kept me comfortable, stuck, and unfulfilled, or do I take radical responsibility to create fulfillment, expansion, growth, and autonomy? 

It’s answering big questions like “who do you want to become” and “what legacy do you want to create”?

Something that your mom, dad, guidance counselor or boss never asked once.

The first two years will undoubtedly be the hardest, but also the most transformative in your personal development and career.

This book is a representation of exactly that and why I felt so compelled to write it. I hope it provides you with insight, motivation, determination– and belief system that you can do anything you set your heart and mind to.

I can only wish that someone would have set transparent expectations from the get-go of what the REAL entrepreneurship journey requires– mind body and soul.
